The feels December and January give are so different. December, a month full of colours, lights, celebrations, and gifts, while January is miserable for most as many have to go back to work after a month of happiness and fun. Do you feel this way too?
However, what one does not notice is that a New Year offers everyone a new opportunity to make a clean, fresh start. So, below are a few ways to kick start 2021 with a bang!
1. Start Moving

If you have overindulged yourself during the holidays, there is no better time to get back to, or start a healthy routine by having a good diet and exercising regularly. Make this a habit by giving yourself a timetable to stick to. If you find it difficult to start this healthy routine, get your close ones along to embark on this journey together. It is always better to start something with someone, so get your best pal along!
2. Take a leap of faith

With so many scuppered plans due to the uncertainty of 2020, it’s time to make this year the year you take that leap of faith you’ve been talking about. 2021 will not be a year in which you are afraid of how things may go wrong. Instead, make it the year you dive into the unknown. Taking the leap of faith allows you to rediscover yourself as it forces you to come out of your comfort zone -- that very old environment that might be holding you back from greater things.
3. Practice the one-a-day principle

It is almost impossible to please everyone all the time. So, instead of trying to please everyone, try to do something extraordinary for someone everyday. Find a friend, a relative, a colleague or even a stranger and do something special for them. This is always quite uplifting --
Push yourself to be better than who you were yesterday but remember to pace yourself and not over exert yourself. Make 2021 your year, one day to day one, it is your decision!
