Up your miles game and fly ahead of the rest.

We used to accumulate miles for a measly trip to Bangkok once a year. Now, how about going to Taiwan once every quarter?

show cardholder FAQ

When will I be able to get repayment for the purchase made?

Two things will happen at one time: Swapie getting the requestor to make a bank transfer to us (which is currently one of our personal PayNow accounts), and Swapie creating the chat to link-up the requestor (Rqx) and you.

A third thing will happen once both are done – which is to disburse you the amount (i.e. 90% of RRP). This whole process might take up to 48 hours depending on how fast the requestor acts. Once that is done, you can go ahead and make the purchase on the merchant website.

Is Swapie legal?

Think of it this way - is it legal to pass your credit card to your little brother who wants to buy a laptop for school? If it is, then we definitely are! Swapie acts as a platform to connect people with similar interests, and once you've made a new friend, feel free to buy anything you'd like for your friend.

How will I pay for an item request?

We will link you guys up through a monitored chat (which we are still building into our website!) – which, at the time being, will be done over Telegram or WhatsApp. The requestor will lay out the steps needed to make the purchase on the particular merchant he/she is interested in, and you guys will sort it out over the chat.

Can I pull out of a transaction?

As the Swapie community platform is built largely on trust, we strongly advise you not to do so unless you have a very compelling reason to. This will be investigated and approved on a case-by-case basis.

You mentioned a "Cost to Use Swapie". Do I need to make any payment?

Nope, you don't have to make any payment to Swapie. In fact, it is free to use the platform! Your payment of 1x RRP will be made to the merchant directly and since the item is not purchased for yourself, you will receive a cash disbursement of 0.9x RRP (see previous FAQ). Your ‘net payment’ of 0.1x RRP lies in the difference between the amount billed to card and the reimbursement you receive.
